Meat + Three restaurants made their debut sometime during the 1920's, when farmers, factory workers and office folks would grab a hot, inexpensive, cafeteria-style lunch at a restaurant, rather than run home for their mid-day break. Guests would choose one protein and three sides from a rotating menu. Meat + Three were truly the first farm-to-table concept, as they served the bounty of what the garden offered. These unpretentious restaurants created fellowship among folks of all kinds, as blue and white collars often shared tables at Meat + Threes, regardless of their status.
Today, Grace Meat + Three is much the same-we offer guests the same community fellowship and Southern traditions. Our ingredients are sourced locally from Missouri and Illinois farmers, vendors and often our own backyard. Updating the traditional cafeteria style. Grace guests are welcomed to a hybrid quick-service restaurant with a full-service feel.
